What makes the Animal Inn special?
Our clients - and yes we have even had repeat clients, choose us in the
first instance for our quality, our openness, our ease of communication
and access, but in the end when they take their pets home, it is their
praise of our staff and our attentiveness to their and their pets needs
that has won us so many friends. Please see our endorsements.
Even in our original planning in 1988, our concern was the mental, as
well as the physical well being of all the cats and dogs in our care and
so we engaged Dr Roger Mugford, the pre-eminent Consultant Animal Behaviourist
to review our plans & procedures and he wrote "You have shown
every possible concern for meeting the reasonable behavioural needs of
dogs when they suffer a major loss of accustomed freedom for six months.
Your kennel design & personnel policies towards a caring staff should
do much to ease the shock of kennel life for animals. You appreciate that
pets need a totally individual approach to care, and I believe that this
is what they will receive at The Animal Inn."
Physically, the Animal Inn kennels are unique in their design giving
the dogs about 25 times more human company and fellow canine company than
in conventional corridor style kennels. This also benefits the dogs by
giving them many stimuli which in turn ensures they self exercise well.
The cats also have a choice of catteries, one where the cats have a little
pop hole veranda to view the outside world, whilst the newer cattery is
of a corridor style and has been found to be particularly beneficial to
cats that can otherwise be a bit timid, shy or nervous.
Finally, no one else will provide you with access to your own web page
showing your pets, and have a further confidential access for the confidential
information between you and The Animal Inn.
Do please let us answer and help with your questions, if we haven't answered
them elsewhere.
